Ask me anything   I am just another girl who is on the journey to health and happiness with a life long love of healthy eating and endorphins. Anorexia nearly destroyed me so now is time to nourish my body and mind.

Anonymous asked: have you ever posted pictures of yourself on your blog? what is your reason for not doing so? i'm not trying to be interrogative in any way, i just see that your posts are very positive in terms of recovery and if you were to contribute a bit more of yourself, many of those in recovery would probably look towards you for inspiration, despite i understand that may not be the main intention of your blog :) anyway your food looks truly wonderful!

Answer:

Oh my gosh, thank you for such a lovely message. I would love to put photos of myself as it would make everything a lot more personal and real but unfortunately, I’m just too scared that someone I know will find it.

Anonymous asked: Are you relapsing?

Answer:

What on earth!? No! Fortunately, my recovery has been a steady uphill climb and have never relapsed and am certain I definitely never will. I had a period about 9 months away when I had relapse thoughts but never acted on them and they’ve never come back :)

Greek inspired dinner tonight! Cod, haddock and salmon with lemon, oregano, coriander and black pepper, Greek yoghurt with lemon and coriander and wholemeal pitta bread. With a massive bowl of sugar snap peas on the side ☺

Anonymous asked: Why don't you just gain the weight you have to and then you will be able to eat normally again? It sounds like you are very much still in depth with your ed. Perhaps you should see a therapist or something if you can't do it by yourself. Well done for being able to live normal-ish, but love, this isnt' really doing you any favours just putting it off.. just face whatever fears youve got and GO FOR IT!

Answer:

I know, I know. This is all coming across a lot worse than it sounds. Basically, me and my family are just living normally and not focusing on weight and food as much anymore. I have reached the weight set by my team which is why I am apprehensive to gain more. However, it was set a significant while back when I was shorter and younger so I know in order for me to get my period back, I will eventually have to gain more. It is just annoying that after finally getting to my target after almost 2 years of gaining, I may have to gain more. Nevertheless, I am eating the same amount as I was when I was gaining and just seeing what my body does.

Thank you though xxx
